Rosemary A Kipp BA DipCounselling
PROFILE
I began Counselling, alongside my Civil Service career, over thirty years ago, working with new mothers within the National Childbirth Trust and young families within the Methodist church.
Twenty years ago, I undertook training in Person Centred, or Humanistic, Counselling with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). At that time my practice was working with Civil Servants and private referrals.
Ten years ago, I left the Civil Service and returned to education attaining a Degree in Counselling and a Diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Solution Based Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Mindfulness. I have since worked with military veterans, young people, people with bereavement, mental and physical health problems, and the families and loved ones of those affected by drugs or alcohol.
I run a private practice based in South Gloucestershire working with clients on a wide range of issues. I also work for a local charity, Developing Health and Independence (DHI) two days a week where I support clients recovering from Drug and Alcohol addiction. I am an associate member of the NCS (NCPS from June 23) and operate within their code of conduct.
I am now operating face to face and remotely via Zoom or phone.
